Meet Alexis Rago, founder of Marketing Mana and proudly known as the “Big Kahuna.” Born and raised in Hawai‘i, Alexis built her business on the principle of mana—the spiritual energy earned through righteous choices. After years of asking permission just to volunteer in her kids’ classrooms, she realized in her 40s it was time to fully own her time and choices. That decision sparked the creation of Marketing Mana, a purpose-driven company helping small business owners design intentional marketing strategies rooted in Category Design principles.

Despite holding an MBA from the University of Michigan, Alexis discovered that running her own business brought new challenges. That’s when she joined the Mastermind community. Through the guidance of Dean, Tony, and the coaching team, she transformed her approach, shifting away from hourly consulting into value-packed VIP packages, immersive retreats, and soon, online courses. “Within a week of launching my VIP offer, I had a $14,000 day,” she celebrates, “but even more important is the opportunity to serve clients in ways that impact their lives, their businesses, and their families.”

Today, Alexis empowers small business owners to cut through the noise, attract their Dream Clients, and scale with authenticity and clarity. From her flagship course Unforgettable Introductions to customized frameworks, she blends advisor, coach, and consultant into one powerful role. Her mission is clear: help entrepreneurs think differently, and become the Category Kings and Queens of their industries.

Alexis, your journey from corporate marketing to building a values-driven business is such an inspiration. Thank you for showing us the power of courage, clarity, and authenticity, we’re proud to celebrate your success and can’t wait to see what comes next!
