Meet Corey Golomb, a retired educator turned entrepreneur who is leveraging over 41 years of experience to empower emerging leaders in public education.
Through her business, Integrated Ed Consulting, Corey helps educators transition from the classroom into central administration. “I understand the challenges of moving into leadership roles,” Corey shares. “I’ve been there, and now I’m passionate about equipping others with tools and frameworks to navigate the ambiguity and thrive.”
Corey joined Mastermind Business Academy (MBA) [Mastermind Coaching Program] in July 2024, seeking a hands-on approach to launching her business. “I’ve spent my life in education, not business, so this was like learning a whole new language,” she explains. With MBA’s guidance, Corey refined her focus, built her confidence, and made remarkable strides: forming an LLC and S-corp, creating a website, launching a lead magnet, and landing her first client. She also has three nationwide webinars scheduled for early 2025.
Like many new entrepreneurs, Corey faced imposter syndrome. “I’d look at others on LinkedIn and think, ‘Who’s going to listen to me?’” she recalls. “But the MBA community and coaches reminded me that my uniqueness is my strength. Someone out there needs my specific experience and approach.”
Corey also found inspiration in the MBA community and tools. “The coaches and peers keep me grounded. They remind me to focus on my purpose—helping educators and future leaders. The support and encouragement are unmatched.”
