Meet Gwen Gould, a former midwife turned entrepreneur who found her voice, built two businesses, and is now empowering women to gain confidence and financial security.
After joining the Own Your Future Challenge [Mastermind Workshop Series] in July 2023, Gwen took a leap of faith—upgrading to Mastermind in August and later investing in the Business Hub in May 2024. Up until recently, she worked as a midwife, but she had also trained as a hypnotherapist and Rapid Transformational Therapy practitioner to prepare for launching a business upon retirement.
Before this journey, Gwen struggled with confidence. “I had no voice. I was told that children should be seen and not heard, and that belief followed me through childhood, marriage, and my career.” But with the tools and guidance from Mastermind, that changed. “Now, I have a voice—and I cannot keep quiet.”
With the help of Mastermind and GG, Gwen has:

✔️ Launched a second business helping women entrepreneurs gain confidence.
✔️ Got paid to speak at two women’s groups—earning more from speaking than she did as a midwife!
✔️ Secured a £1,000 business grant by leveraging GG’s support to refine her business plan and market research.
