Meet Susie Ibarra, a brilliant composer, percussionist, and sound artist whose work bridges creativity, research, and environmental advocacy. With a passion for mapping soundscapes, from bird songs to glaciers, and collaborating on projects addressing climate change, Susie’s vision for a Cultural Studio has taken flight through the Mastermind program.
Susie joined Project Next [Mastermind Signature Course] in August, determined to adapt her artistic pursuits into the online space despite facing significant challenges. “I wanted to create a studio, journal blog, and webinars, but I felt constricted by old-world academic and financial systems. I needed a way to break free and bring my work to a global audience.”
While navigating personal commitments—caring for elderly parents in another state and supporting her 15-year-old son’s pro soccer dreams in Spain—Susie found herself stretched thin. “I needed a system that worked for me, and Mastermind gave me the tools, structure, and blueprint to move forward.”
Through the program, Susie’s brand has begun to align on a higher vibration. “It’s not just about motivation; it’s about practical methods and strategies. Dean and Tony offer strategic planning in a way that resonates deeply. I’ve studied with master teachers in music and art, and I recognize the same mastery here.”
Susie is now seeing incredible opportunities unfold:
- Her first webinar, Rudimentary Rhythms and Bird Songs, was a success, and she’s working toward launching her course this February.
- She’s integrating her artistic passions with environmental impact, designing water-cleaning sound sculptures that will debut in Italy at the prestigious Giardini dell’Arena.
- She’s gaining commissions beyond her online projects, proving that showing up every day leads to alignment and success.
Her advice to others in the Mastermind community:
“Keep showing up, every day—good, bad, or in between. Journaling has been my anchor, and following the blueprint works if you’re consistent. I didn’t hit everything on my 90-day plan, but I accomplished so much more than I thought I could.”
Susie, your dedication to combining artistry, environmentalism, and education is awe-inspiring. Thank you for sharing your journey and showing what’s possible when passion meets action!
